Dear Mr White,
I have not
just been let down once, but twice by the Ombudsman.
Any objection or further letters to the Ombudsman have been
ignored. How can this possibly be fair and unbiased? How can the same ombudsman
judge complicated planning affairs and education problems from Coventry
without any proper investigations?
My first objection was to South Norfolk Planners about being
overlooked if a planning application was approved. No one came to see and no one
listened. The ombudsman made his decision from the false information given to
him by the planners. I asked the Ombudsman to investigate and to use planning
experts. He did neither. My investigation shows that
1)
The unprofessional
manner in which the planning application was dealt with, whereby incorrect
information was fed to the committee by a professional officer.
2)
This unprofessional
conduct was further evidenced by the fact that my valid written objections were
ignored and not adequately considered by the committee.
3)
The ombudsman was
also misled on the incorrect factual situation because no one at South Norfolk
District Council checked the facts because no one carried out a site visit.
4)
The Council failed
to spot inaccuracies in the plans submitted.
I am still 'upset about the overlooking' and have been caused
great stress in trying to bring this problem out into the open.
The second time the Ombudsman has failed to look into an
injustice is my being judged by a kangaroo court by a school panel using Norfolk
County Council's 'School's Complaints Procedures'. The procedures used for me
did not allow for natural justice.
My MP, Charles Clarke saw me at a recent surgery. After meeting
me, seeing my references and the statement containing lies and a serious
allegation he wrote to Norfolk County Council asking that I should have a fair
hearing. The reply he received was dismissive and incorrect.
I would like a fair hearing as I do wish to 'clear my name' and
continue to be able to teach for Norfolk County Council should I so wish. This
problem again is being hushed up and had the ombudsman been fair, this too could
have been resolved years ago.
Both cases have been dealt with by those who have had no clear
understanding of the details and have used inaccurate and false information.
Yours sincerely
Mrs Jane Reeve
