These findings come about because of our experiences in regard to public sector/local council severe incompetence and fraudulent service etc. The reason for writing to you is that we are worried about the future of the FOI act, and we understand that the Information Commissioners Office is only answerable to Parliament. 

We have found that the quality of public employees, including local authorities, leaves much to be desired. Daily we read how the Home Office and Immigration department staff along with many other government departments, are now a world-wide embarrassment for all of us.

 The appalling number of self-seeking buffoons, enjoying unlimited public sector power and protection, is damaging our nation. Incompetent public servants and council officers are rapidly turning us into a banana state! Its often the case where severe incompetents are holding too much power! 

Such stupid public sector freewheeling deceit goes unpunished, even the most idiotic of staff are almost always protected to the hilt by their Associations, thereby guaranteeing continued mediocre service to the nation.  

It would appear from our own experience along with much media disclosure of severe public sector bungling, that many public service miscreants have a vested interest in seeing that the Freedom of Information act does not succeed.

Because, if it did succeed, it would lead to the much needed cleansing of numerous departments and a curtailing of much staff Association power! 

Our nation seems to be tainted by monstrous numbers of public sector incompetents that are spread throughout the country. Too many of these miscreants act discreditably, without a care in the world, knowing they are guaranteed powerful public sector protection.

 The nation has need for the Freedom of Information act.

We have discovered to our cost, how a prominent civil servant, the Parliamentary Ombudsman, has by deceitful orchestration abused her powers where, instead of protecting the public, her office has became by devious design, a protector of corrupt civil servants and a persecutor of citizens rights. Such tyrants are against the FOI act, such Ombudsman acts put the evolution of democracy in reverse! 

Some of us, who protest against this corruption of the democratic principle are targeted, others are derailed by numerous entrenched public sector Old Pals Acts.
